Vice
Commander, Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command
Signs Statement of Support
Major
General Allan R. Poulin, Vice Commander, Headquarters Air Force Reserve
Command, Robins Air Force Base, GA, signed a Statement of Support for the
National Guard and Reserve on January 16, 2008. Maj. Gen. Poulin is
responsible for the daily operations of the command, which employs about 76,100
Citizen Airmen and consists of more than 370 aircraft among three numbered air
forces, 36 wings, three flying groups, one space group and 620 mission support
units.
“We have had
great support from the Air Force and Air Force Reserve Command over the years,”
said Tom Wessels, Chair, GA ESGR. “It was a pleasure to have the Vice
Commander sign a Statement of Support because many of the command’s civilian
employees and uniformed employees are engaged in the many contingencies that
are currently in our world.”
"Air Force Reserve Command has a long standing
partnership with the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve,” said Major
General Poulin. “The signing of this 5-Star Statement of Support further
expresses our commitment to our Reservists and their employers."
Air
Force Reserve Command supports the Air Force mission to defend the United Sates
through control and exploitation of air and space by supporting global
engagement. AFRC plays an integral role in the day-to-day Air Force mission.
