(Tulsa, OK) Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor joined members of the National Guard and Reserve to sign a Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve on May 15.

The Minnesota State Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve held its annual Awards Banquet at the Golden Valley Country Club on May 12. More 600 guests attended the event, and 28 employers were honored for their outstanding support of their employees who serve in the military.

Gordon Jacobson State Chair of the Washington Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Committee, an agency of the Department of Defense, announced that Congressman Dave Reichert (WA-08) signed a Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve on Saturday, May 10, 2008.

“Thank you and your company for leading the way,” Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, Thomas Hall, told Edward Rust, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of State Farm Insurance Companies, May 9 when State Farm signed an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve on behalf of the more than 1,600 State Farm locations nationwide.
