Wilmington, DE - 15 JUL 2009 - Ms. Judy Zaal, volunteer committee member for ESGR Delaware, honored Mike Treml of I.D. Griffith Inc., with the Patriot Award in recognition of his outstanding patriotic support and cooperation over the years to employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.  

Mr. Treml was nominated by TSgt Terrence Wysznyski, Delaware Air National Guard, 166th Civil Engineer Squadron who writes:  "After my deployments, I really didn't know how to say thanks.  Nominating I.D. Griffith employees for the Patriot Award was something I could do to help convey my gratitude.  When presenting the award, I also want to honor the memory of the step-daughter of one of our owners, Christine Loncki.  We are all grateful for the service of Elizabeth A. Loncki, Senior Airman, USAF, Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient, who lost her life due to an IED while serving in Iraq (KIA 010707).  Elizabeth is the first Delaware Servicewoman to give sacrificially of her life for others."
