The Arizona Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, announced today that Georgina Fierros, Tucson Veteran's Hospital, Tucson, Arizona was honored with a Seven Seals Award in recognition of extraordinary support of the veterans who served our country. Mrs. Georgina Fierros, receives her ESGR Seven Seals. Assisting with the presentation is her son, Sgt Ruben Fierros, SGT, 2220th Transportation Co.,Tucson, AZ. Sgt Fierros has over 25 years of combined Active Army, Guard and Reserve and is preparing for an upcoming deployment. Georgina has over 13 years as a volunteer with around 3600 hour of volunteer time. She has always made breakfast burritos and Christmas tamales for the veterans that could not be home with their families during the holidays. As the 1.3 million members of the National Guard and Reserve continue to perform an increasing number of unique missions with America's borders and beyond, ESGR will continue to be the resource for the employers of citizen warriors. ESGR recognizes outstanding support, increases awareness of the law, and resolves conflict through mediation.
