An invitation to attend the Thirteenth Graduation of the NPS Homeland Security Master's Degree Program turns out two Statement of Supports signings and also future outreach possibilities at the Naval Postgraduate School.
California State Chairman Andy Wiktorowicz was invited to attend the Graduation representing the Assistant Secretary of Defense in Monterey California on 18 December 2009.
The day before the graduation Mr. Wiktorowicz met with Daniel T. Oliver (President Naval Postgraduate School) and Glen Woodbury (Director of the Center for Homeland Defense and Security) to learn about the NPS program and the Homeland Security Master's Degree program. Mr. Wiktorowicz also was given a tour of the campus and was able to meet many of the graduates of NPS. "To be invited to participate in this graduation and to meet many of the finest men and women in our military was a pleasure and an honor" stated Mr. Wiktorowicz.
Mr. Wiktorowicz was also able to share ESGR with the leadership of the Naval Post Graduate which resulted in two Statements of Support Signings. SOS's were signed by Mr. Oliver and Mr. Woodbury. Seven Seals Awards were also presented to both of these leaders for their Outstanding Support of the Guard and Reserves. |
